After announcing the restart of select tours and cruises in recent weeks, Tauck revealed that it plans to resume full operations of all remaining 2021 itineraries during August and September. In all, Tauck expects to operate more than 80% of its pre-pandemic portfolio of tours and cruises this year, with a full return of all itineraries slated for 2022.

Tauck Will Resume Operations In Europe & Africa

August will mark the resumption of Tauck’s European river cruises, with departures sailing on the Rhône and Seine in France and the Douro River in Portugal. Although no firm date has been set, Tauck plans to restart its cruises on the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers – and the bulk of its remaining European land tours – in early fall as border openings permit.

Tauck’s itineraries differ from itineraries offered by other cruise companies because many of them include land tours. These tours are included in the itineraries rather than being presented as pre- and post-cruise options. You can, however, decide to extend your stay by either staying later or arriving earlier.

Tauck Highlights Features On Douro River Ship

Tauck has announced design and décor details of its new ms Andorinha riverboat. Currently undergoing sea trials in the Netherlands, the Andorinha will officially launch March 2020 and sail on three new cruise itineraries along the Douro river.
