RIVER ROYALE Overview

Launched in 2006, Uniworld‘s 361-foot long River Royale whisks guests to some of the most fascinating ports in France, offering voyages that sail through Burgundy, Provence, Paris and Normandy. Featuring French Balcony staterooms and suites located on the Azure Deck, River Royale underwent yet another refurbishment just in time for the 2012 river cruise season.

There are three stateroom categories aboard River Royale and one suite categoryLavishly appointed riverview staterooms and suites have handcrafted Savoir® of England beds draped in 100% Egyptian cotton linens and European duvets, along with a menu of pillow choices.

Stateroom and suite amenities include: generous built-in closets, hair dryer, individual climate-control thermostat, direct-dial telephone, flatscreen TV with infotainment center, and safe.

Bathrooms include: L’Occitane en Provence and Hermés bath and body products, plush towels, backlit magnifying mirror, cozy bathrobes and slippers.

The suite has additional amenities and services, including: in-suite butler service; packing and unpacking assistance; in-room breakfast; daily fruit and cookie plate, and an elegant evening snack; iPod dock; Nespresso coffee machine and fine teas; fully stocked minibar; bottle of wine upon arrival; shoeshine; and free laundry service.

River Royale features a panoramic main lounge to ensure the passing scenery is never missed. The ship also has a bar, an elegantly appointed dining room, and a library.

Out on deck, passengers will find ample space for sunning and sightseeing as well as a fitness room, spa, sauna, Jacuzzi, and shops. All public areas are equipped with wireless internet access.

Guests also have the use of complimentary bicycles and Nordic walking sticks while ashore.

With her boutique styling and elegant ambiance, it’s no wonder River Royale was recently named one of the “Top Small Cruise Ships” by the readers of Conde Nast Traveler.
