The\u00a0Scenic Jewel<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>was launched in 2013. The “space ship”\u00a0is 443 feet long\u00a0and carries 169 guests and 51 crew members. This vessel was built with the same specifications and layout as its two sister ships \u2013 Scenic Crystal<\/a><\/strong> and Scenic Jade<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n Unlike many river cruise ships, Scenic Jewel\u00a0offers full, step-out balconies in place of more traditional French balcony staterooms. And 85 percent of its cabins have private balconies.<\/p>\n There are 16 different stateroom categories aboard the Scenic Jewel. On the Sapphire Deck, you’ll find the\u00a0Crystal Dining Room,<\/strong>which features a buffet-style breakfast, an\u00a0\u00e0 la carte menu and buffet for lunch and a full menu for dinner guests.\u00a0The\u00a0Table La Rive,<\/strong> which is open to\u00a0guests in select stateroom categories, is also located on the Sapphire Deck.<\/p>\n Portobellos Restaurant<\/strong>featuring a traditional Italian cuisine\u00a0is open for dinner, and the the \u00a0River Caf\u00e9<\/strong>\u00a0for casual dining and snacks is open between breakfast and dinner.
