\nThe Avalon Tranquility II<\/strong>, which made its debut in 2015, \u00a0is one of Avalon Waterways<\/a><\/strong> newest suite ships. Sailing the Rhine<\/a><\/strong>, Main<\/a><\/strong> and Danube<\/a><\/strong>rivers in Europe, she is 361 feet long and carries up to 128 passengers. The Avalon Tranquility II follows the same basic design as the other suites ships in Avalon Waterways’ fleet with 52 balcony suites and 12 deluxe staterooms.<\/p>\n

AVALON TRANQUILITY\u00a0II Staterooms<\/h2>\n

Staterooms onboard the Avalon Tranquility II range in size from 172 to 300 square feet. Even her smallest cabins\u00a0are rather large by industry standards.<\/p>\n

On Deck 1, the Indigo Deck<\/strong>, there are 12 Deluxe Staterooms<\/strong>. Categories included are D and E with 6 cabins each. Rather than a balcony, these stateroom feature two windows that are located near the ceiling. All cabins are 172 square feet.<\/p>\n

Panorama Suites<\/strong> are available on Decks 2 and 3. On the second deck, the Sapphire Deck<\/strong>, there are 8 staterooms for Category B and 17 available for Category A. \u00a0The Royal Deck<\/strong> (Deck 3) has 25 Category P staterooms available. All suites are 200 square feet in size and feature a wall-to-wall open-air balcony.<\/p>\n

The Royal Suites<\/strong> are the largest staterooms on the Avalon Tranquility II. There are 2 available on the Royal Deck – suites # 306 and #308. These staterooms are 300 square feet and also feature a wall-to-wall open-air balcony.<\/p>\n

All staterooms share some of the same amenities, which include rooms that are furnished with\u00a0a flat-screen satellite TV, a writing desk, bedside tables with lamps and Comfort Collections Beds<\/strong> (SM). \u00a0The super,\u00a0comfortable beds \u00a0have\u00a0memory foam mattress toppers and are made with Egyptian super-combed cotton linens<\/strong> and dressed with European-style duvets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Complimentary bottled water, extra blankets, an in-room safe, individual climate control, a bathrobe and slippers and L’Occitaine<\/strong> bath products are also featured in\u00a0all cabins.<\/p>\n

The Panorama and Royal Suites share a few additional amenities, such as a 6-person sitting area with a sofa<\/strong> and coffee table<\/strong>, a well-stocked minibar<\/strong> and a bathroom with marble countertops<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

AVALON TRANQUILITY II Public Areas<\/h2>\n

Most of the public areas on the Avalon Tranquility II<\/strong> are found on the top two decks. On the Sky Deck, Deck 4, guests can gather in the Sky Lounge<\/strong> or grab a bite to eat in the Sky Bistro<\/strong>. Also located forward on this deck are the Navigation Bridge<\/strong> and Whirlpool<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Sky Deck<\/strong> features an outdoor area where guests can relax and enjoy the fresh air on Premium Lounge chairs<\/strong> and underneath Premium shade awning. This public area is located midship.<\/p>\n

Toward the rear of the ship on the Sky Deck, there is a Deck Game Area<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Deck 3, the Royal Deck<\/strong>, also \u00a0features several public spots. Located forward to midship, guests can socialize in the Panorama Lounge & Bar<\/strong> or dine in the casual atmosphere of the Panorama Bistro<\/strong>. There is also an Observation Lounge<\/strong> and an Internet Corner<\/strong> for guests who are seeking quieter activities.<\/p>\n

Located at the back or aft of the ship, the Royal Deck has a Hair Salon<\/strong> and another lounge – the\u00a0Club Lounge.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Guest meals\u00a0are served in the Dining Room<\/strong> on the Sapphire Deck<\/strong> (Deck 2). For those who prefer a lighter or more casual dining option, meals are also served at the Sky Bistro and the Panorama Bistro.<\/p>\n

And fitness-minded guests, who like to engage in exercise while traveling, will have access to a Fitness Center<\/strong> located on the Indigo Deck<\/strong> (Deck 1)<\/p>\n
