AmaWaterways launches redesigned website

If you’ve visited the AmaWaterways website recently, you may have noticed a few changes. Gone are the small graphics and somewhat dated design of the company’s previous internet presence, replaced instead with a completely overhauled site that focuses heavily on providing a rewarding internet experience to the line’s customers and travel agents.

What visitors are likely to notice most are the expanded graphics and stunning images that represent AmaWaterways and its elegant fleet of river cruise ships. Photographs now present the exterior and interiors of every vessel, and a wealth of information is offered on the line’s itineraries in Europe, Russia, Portugal, Vietnam & Cambodia, as well as AmaWaterways’ newest destination offering: Africa.

Complementing this is a brand-new search engine that allows guests and travel agents to find specific tours and destinations at the click of a mouse. Detailed maps help to illustrate the full itineraries that outline each day’s events and excursions, and useful tips and information on preparing for your AmaWaterways voyage are available along with dining guides, shore excursions and stateroom information.

“As AmaWaterways focuses on helping travel agents become experts on selling river cruise vacations, our new website provides up-to-date information, stunning graphics and easy navigation,” said AmaWaterways Founder Rudi Schreiner. “We designed every aspect around the warm and welcoming culture of AmaWaterways and we will continue to deliver top-notch service on and off line.”

The highly rated river cruise line isn’t stopping there, though. Upcoming additions to the new AmaWaterways website will include extensive video and photo galleries of each ship in the fleet, along with galleries for ports including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Cape Town, Hanoi, Lisbon, Madrid, Paris, Prague, and Zurich.

The new restructuring of AmaWaterways’ digital presence coincides with the launch of several new itineraries for the 2013 cruise season, including:

  • Jewels of France – 3-nights in Barcelona, 7-night Arles-Lyon cruise, 7-night Seine River cruise & 2 nights in Paris. Starts Mar. 26 – Nov. 5, 2013
