We’re always on the lookout for the latest river cruise information on River Cruise Advisor, and as it happens, my own parents just returned from a spectacular trip aboard Uniworld’s Douro Spirit, sailing Portugal’s famous Douro River.
With free-flowing port wines and sunny weather, their 11-day trip to Portugal and Spain took them from the capital of Lisbon up to the port wine-producing city of Porto where they embarked the 124-guest Douro Spirit for a week of sailing through one of Portugal’s most breathtaking areas.
