Since boarding AmaPrima this past Saturday in Vienna, Austria, I snapped nearly 1,000 photos. Fewer than 100 of those made it on the River Cruise Advisor website, and I believe that they tell the story of the new river cruiser quite well. To see if you agree, check out our super-sized photo slideshow featuring AmaPrima and a few days of cruising along the Danube River. After you’re done, click on the links below to view more slideshows, as well as photos and posts detailing this new vessel and time ashore in a few destinations along the Danube.

Thanks for sharing Cynthia! We’ll be back on board in November for the wine cruises.
We sailed on Amaprima the week before you did, and I am reliving that fabulous trip with your excellent photos. Somehow, we were so busy enjoying ourselves, soaking up the sights, eating and drinking our way through 3 supurb meals a day, meeting new friends, and having a relaxing time in our cabin 302 that our photos are somewhat lacking in the details you have captured. The forward sundeck area was a great favorite as we went through the locks, however the main sundeck area and the pool were inaccessible during the times we had to go under low bridges and tight locks. The unique captains “wheelhouse” is an engineering marvel, if you took that tour. We thank AMAWaterways for a fantastic and sybaritic week of pleasure, as well as the Amaprime being everything it was advertised to be, and more. Thanks for your good review, we look forward to sailing with AMAWaterways again and again. Friends of AMAprima from Denver
