SEINE PRINCESS Overview
Constructed in 2002, Seine Princess takes 138 passengers on a journey along France’s Seine River. At 361 feet in length, she is large enough to offer plenty of public rooms and amenities for guests to enjoy while onboard, but still small enough to provide the intimate river cruising experience that family owned CroisiEurope is known for.
In 2010, Seine Princess underwent a refurbishment that refreshed her décor and soft furnishings.
Her slightly larger sister-ship, Botticelli, also operates river cruises along the Seine. Although similar in physical dimensions, she carries a total of 151 guests.
SEINE PRINCESS Staterooms
Each of the 67 staterooms available aboard the Seine Princess are nearly identical in size and amenities. Their main differences lie in their physical placement on the ship’s two passenger decks.
Staterooms on both Upper and Main decks feature fixed picture windows. Each stateroom includes a private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink/vanity area; a hairdryer, personal safe and a satellite television set.
Seine Princess also boasts two staterooms located on Upper Deck that are designated as Suites. These can sleep up to four guests, and are located amidships.
Unlike her near-sister Botticelli, Seine Princess does not have any staterooms set aside for people with physical disabilities or mobility issues.
SEINE PRINCESS Public Areas
On Seine Princess, all public rooms are located on the ship’s Upper Deck. A main Restaurant located all the way aft serves up meals buffet-style for breakfast, with a set menu that changes daily for lunch and dinner. The Restaurant has an intimate feel and encourages a social atmosphere, with a variety of table sizes.
All the way forward on the same deck is the Main Lounge aboard the Seine Princess. This features 180-degree panoramic windows that look out on the stunning scenery passing by. With a full-service bar, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy newfound company. The Lounge also features a decently sized dance floor that becomes well-used as the night wears on.
On the Sun Deck, located one deck higher, guests can admire the passing views of Europe’s most storied waterways with outdoor deck space that stretches from bow to stern.
River Cruisers Should Know!
- Electrical outlets onboard use standard two-prong, European 220V connections. North American travelers will require an adapter and/or converter to use electronics.
- There are no suitable staterooms for guests with mobility issues.
- There is no passenger elevator aboard the Seine Princess.
- There are no French Balconies aboard Seine Princes; all staterooms have fixed windows.
- Wi-Fi and Internet connectivity are available onboard for an additional fee.
