If you’ve been curious about taking a river cruise aboard one of the ships of Strasbourg-based CroisiEurope but have been on the fence about the experience, you might want to watch one of the eleven new destination-based videos the company has put up on their website recently.

Covering the overall CroisiEurope experience along with highlights from The Romantic Rhine Valley; The Beautiful Blue Danube and the Impressive Iron Gates of Romania; Paris and Normandy; The Rhone River; The Garonne and Gironde Rivers (Bordeaux); The Golden Douro; The Guadalquivir and Guadiana Rivers; Venice and the Po River; Sea Cruise the Adriatic, Croatia and Montenegro; and the Majestic Mekong River, the videos offer a unique look at both these destinations and what it means to take a CroisiEurope river cruise through them.
The Strasbourg-based CroisiEurope is one of Europe’s oldest river cruise operators. They’re quite well known (and very popular) within Europe, but the company is keen on making inroads with river cruisers from Canada and the United States. Rather than being composed of stock shots and staged scenes, these videos are, for the most part, all shot professionally with real footage. You know – real footage, and not heavily-doctored shots that would be impossible for you or us to take.
Perhaps more importantly, these eleven videos highlight the uniqueness of the river cruise product that CroisiEurope has developed. From their half-ship, half-river cruise vessels that ply the Adriatic Sea to the company’s first paddlewheeler (set to launch next year), no two CroisiEurope vessels are alike. That gives them something that’s gradually being eliminated from many lines: personality.
