A well-known operator in the United Kingdom for nearly a decade, Riviera River Cruises is expanding its operations in North America. Riviera is known for offering low prices on its well-received river cruisers.

Last week, the company hired Nicola Iannone as its vice president of sales. Iannone will oversee a team of dedicated Regional Sales Directors and help expand awareness of the brand. Earlier this year, Riviera opened a new office and call center in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Iannone is a travel industry veteran with more than 25 years of front-line and management experience in the retail, tour operator, airline and cruise line segments, most recently serving as Executive Vice President of Sales USA-Canada for CroisiEurope, Europe’s largest river cruise line.
