This week on Avid Travel With Britton Frost we are joined by Marilyn Conroy from Riviera River Cruises. Riviera is a UK-based river cruise operator that has recently opened its doors, or shall I say cabins, to North American guests.
During the interview, Conroy and I discussed what Riviera does differently. To start, the cruise line “unbundles” the cruise fare, this means that certain things, like beverages, are not included in the cruise fare but instead offered for an additional price. We also spoke about how Riviera is a good option for solo travelers, not only with waived single supplements, but also with its dedicated solo traveler sailings.
