We’re currently firming up our plans for our river cruises this year and next. First up, we’ll be traveling to Budapest in late February to preview AmaWaterways’ new winter cruises. Afterward, in early March, it’s on to India (tentatively planned) to preview a 2026 river cruise that we hope to host. In late March, we’ll be in Bordeaux for Avalon Waterways’ debut in this storied region of France. We’re also looking at boarding Riverside Luxury Cruises and possibly American Cruise Lines here in the States.

In May, I host my sold-out Alsace barge trip, and in June, we barge through Belgium (two staterooms remain if you’d like to join us).

My October 9-15, 2026 barge trip across the Camargue (from Sete to Arles) is waitlisted. But there’s still space on my 2025 Dream Cruise, October 14-23, 2025 from Arles to Lyon. Rates begin at $3,630 per person. Details are here.

2026 Dream Cruise & Barge Trips: Save The Dates

We plan to host more than one Dream Cruise in 2026. On the books at the moment is a CroisiEurope combination of canals and rivers in France. The trip kicks off on October 8, 2026, from Strasbourg to Lagarde as we explore Alsace. We then travel to Lyon for 7-day cruise on the Rhone beginning October 15. The trip ends with an October 22 journey from Sete to Arles.

I’ll also be hosting three barge trips in 2026. Burgundy is a standout, but the other two can be wrapped around the Dream Cruise on the Rhone.

• October 22, 2026 journey from Sete to Arles.
