CroisiEurope, Europe’s largest river cruise operator, has announced a new wine-themed itinerary along the Rhône and Saône rivers, launching October 21, 2026. The seven-night cruise offers guests the chance to explore some of France’s most renowned and scenic wine regions, paired with immersive cultural excursions.

Sailing round trip from Lyon aboard the MS Rhône Princess, the itinerary features stops in Mâcon, Vienne, Avignon, Arles, The Camargue, and Tournon. Highlights include vineyard visits in Beaujolais, Condrieu, Côte-Rôtie, Tain l’Hermitage, and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence – offering a comprehensive look at the wines of southern France.
In addition to vineyard tours and tastings, the itinerary includes visits to the Papal Palace in Avignon, the medieval village of Viviers (home to France’s smallest cathedral), and the city of Arles to explore landmarks associated with Vincent van Gogh. Guests will also enjoy a culinary stop in Lyon for a tasting at Les Halles de Lyon Paul Bocuse.
All excursions are included in the cruise fare, along with meals, drinks, WiFi, port fees, and repatriation insurance. Prices start at $2,773 per person.
