The ABC’s of River Cruising

If you’ve already been on a river cruise, chances are you don’t require any amount of arm-twisting to book a second (or even a 22nd) voyage along some of the most spectacular waterways of the world. But for those who haven’t been, making the switch from deep-ocean cruises or more traditional land-based tours can be a daunting experience.

Not all cruises are created equal, and there are some key differences between river cruises and their deep-ocean counterparts. Fortunately, we’ve got you covered. If you haven’t read it before, be sure to check out our feature article, River Cruisers Should Know!, highlighting the things you need to be prepared for, and why we think river cruising is such a magnificent experience for travellers of all ages.

We’ve also prepared articles designed to help you compare river cruises to luxury ocean cruising, a guide to picking the right stateroom, and a rundown of the key differences between river cruising and barge cruising, or “barging” as it’s popularly known.  Believe us, there is a difference!

So take some time to explore the site; we’ve added plenty of new features in the past nine months, and we’re continually working to add new content all the time.
