Along the Danube – In Pictures

A river cruise is quite different from a deep-ocean cruise. That may come as no surprise to most of you, but for those who have not yet had the privilege of sailing the waterways of the world, a river cruise boasts one key difference: The magnificent scenery and landscapes passing by never quit.

In fact, a sail down one of Europe’s most famous rivers – the Danube – is like a never-ending slideshow continually gliding past your river cruise ship. It almost doesn’t seem real, and you’ll have a great deal of difficulty pulling yourself away from the windows and outer decks for fear of missing something.

Today, we thought we’d take you along for a virtual sail down the Danube – in pictures!
