If you’re in the market for a river cruise in 2015, you might want to consider sailing in April with Scenic Tours.

The Australian-based tour and river cruise operator is running a special promotion right now that offers prospective guests free roundtrip economy-class airfare on most April 2015 European river cruise departures.

Of course, there are some standard rules and restrictions: this offer is only good for new bookings only, and guests must use the code APR15FFANY in order to be eligible. This offer is only available on a select number of staterooms per departure, so being flexible with your dates might be the best way to ensure that you can take advantage of this special April 2015 promotion. A deposit also has to be provided at the time of booking.

If you hate the stress and financial cost of flying, Scenic’s offer is a very attractive one. We can’t knock it at all; we’re huge fans of inclusive airfare.

One thing to be aware of, though, whenever you’re booking airfare through any cruise line is that by doing so, you do relinquish some control over things like what airline you fly, what airport you connect through (and perhaps even depart from, if your local airport is a regional one), and even arrival and departure times. If you have very specific requirements – like flying on a particular airline alliance or aircraft type – Scenic’s generous offer may not work for you. While their website doesn’t specifically state so, it’s a fair assumption that they will handle all the air arrangements for you – and that they may have one or two carriers of choice that they partner with.

If you are flexible, however, Scenic’s April 2015 offer is a tough one to pass up!
