I am extremely grateful to the nearly 500 of you who took time to participate in last week’s survey about delivery methods for my new book, Ralph Grizzle’s Ultimate River Cruising Handbook, 2018. Thank you!

I’ve tallied the results and comments and will share those next week. But first, another short survey. To my surprise, the majority of you expressed interest in a printed version of the book. Printing and mailing, however, is costly, hence this week I am asking what you feel a fair price would be for a 200-page-plus book with photos.

A number of you also expressed interest in hearing about experiences from other river cruisers. River Cruise Advisor accomplishes this to a degree, through the comments form at the end of each post. But we can do better. My thought is that Facebook may be a good platform for engagement among all of us. I’m curious about your thoughts. Please take a few minutes to let me know what you think would work best for all of us river cruisers to share our experiences and tips for better river cruising.
