Emerald Cruises is now accepting bookings for their 2019 river cruise season. Guests booking any 2019 sailing before April 30 will pay 2018 fares and receive an additional discount of $1,000 US per couple on sailings of 15-days or longer, and $500 US per couple on sailings of 8-14 days. Emerald Cruises’ 2019 season will bring two new ways to explore one of Europe’s most popular rivers for cruising: the mighty Danube. On the new 8-day Classic Danube river cruise, guests will sail from Nuremberg to Vienna with more time to learn about the military history of Nuremberg and take in some Austrian culture in Passau and Melk. The 8-day Lower Danube Waltzitinerary, which takes guests from Vienna to Belgrade, pays a visit to the Eastern European city of Budapest before taking guests to Osijek, Croatia to enjoy lunch in the home of a local family and onto culturally rich Serbian towns of Novi Sad and Belgrade.
To coincide with the 2019 preview brochure launch, Emerald Cruises is also announcing a new loyalty program, EmeraldEXPLORER. Upon returning from the first river cruise, guests will automatically become a member of the EmeraldEXPLORER loyalty club and enjoy its benefits, including additional savings on future cruises, advance notice of new itineraries, and much more. For every subsequent cruise, guests will earn additional points toward future reward.
