According to Scenic’s website, you will be covered automatically once your cruise starts for any delays or cancellations due to weather, natural disasters, mechanical breakdowns, or strikes. This coverage is included in the cruise fare, and guests will not have to do anything to take advantage of the program.
Not only does this type of coverage usually cost travelers money, but it also costs them peace of mind. Without any kind of travel insurance, you are risking losing your entire cruise fare due to unforeseen events.
