Emerald Cruises is offering savings on its 2021-2022 Mekong River cruise season through Cambodia and Vietnam aboard the line’s newest Star-Ship, Emerald Harmony. The ship, which was able to complete its first sailing season before the pandemic halted travel in early 2020, is not just the newest and most intimate ship in Emerald Cruises’ fleet, it’s also the greenest, built to the highest level of European emission standards and featuring a commitment to a single-use plastic-free experience.

Guests booking any 2021-2022 Mekong River cruise and tour itinerary of 13 days or longer will receive their choice of US$2,000 savings per couple or free, round trip air to Asia. Additionally, guests will receive a bonus US$200 onboard credit, which can be used for spa and salon services, to purchase a drink package, or to book one of the DiscoverMORE excursions. Offer is good on bookings made by November 20, 2020. Additionally, guests paying in full within fourteen days of booking will receive an early payment savings of US$400 per person. All bookings include a complimentary Deposit Protection Plan (regularly US$125), allowing guests to book with confidence in the event plans change.
Travelers wishing to explore the Mekong River on board the Emerald Harmony can choose from one of four itineraries ranging from eight to 21 days. The longer itineraries feature time on land to explore locations in Cambodia and Vietnam such as Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, the capital city of Hanoi, and Halong Bay. Those looking to further explore Asia can opt for a land extension to the ancient city of Luang Prabang in Laos, or an extension to remote Sa Pa, nestled in the Hoàng Liên Son Mountains of northwestern Vietnam.
No matter which itinerary guests opt for, they will pay a visit to Ho Chi Minh City, a city that continues to modernize while maintaining traditional roots. The Emerald Harmony’s design allows it to sail to the center of Ho Chi Minh City, meaning guests will disembark in the center of the action rather than needing to be coached in from outside the city.
