Tauck has nine ships in its fleet. What are its smallest, largest and most common stateroom category? All ships have staterooms between 150 square feet and 300 square feet. However, the most common category cabin size is 150 square feet on some ships and 300 square feet on others.
All of Tauck’s ships operate in Europe. Cruises are available on the Danube, Main, Rhine, Rhône, Saône and Seine rivers.
Tauck’s Staterooms In Europe
Tauck’s ships, at least in regard to stateroom size, are pretty standardized. Category 1 staterooms measure 150 square feet. These are the smallest staterooms on all ships in Tauck’s fleet.
Category 7 are suite cabins, also found on all ships. These are the largest staterooms at 300 square feet.
There is some variation in the most common category among the different ships. For the ms Inspire and ms Grace, the most common stateroom size is a Category 7 suite, which is 300 square feet. This is also true for the ms Savor and the ms Joy.
For all other ships, Category 4 is most common stateroom measuring 150 square feet. Category 1 staterooms serve as both single and double cabins. On every departure, Tauck hosts solo travelers. Since there are no single cabins onboard, guests who are traveling solo are assigned Category 1 staterooms. Single supplement fees are waived for solo travelers.
Tauck Tours in Other Regions
Within Tauck’s portfolio, there are tours in Asia and Africa that include a river cruise component but are not considered a feature of those trips. Tours are available in China, Myanmar and Egypt.
