A-ROSA Stella: Photo Slideshow: Michelin-Starred Fine Dining

We boarded A-ROSA Stella in Lyon, France, for a weeklong cruise in August on the Rhône and Saône rivers in southern France. The itinerary was gorgeous, with visits to vineyards, bicycle trips through the French countryside, fine dining, sunsets on the rivers and the chance to stroll through charming villages, cities and towns such as Avignon and Arles. Of course, the French wines, included at no extra charge as were all beverages, were refreshing and delicious.

This all looks lovely, but I believe the captions are misleading. The restaurant isn’t ON the A-Rosa Stella, it is in the city of Lyon. One lunch was included on the itinerary.
That is still a big deal, but nowhere near as good as if Paul Bocuse operated the small dining room on the ship (every night)!
You are absolutely correct. Not meant to be misleading but yes, the restaurant is not on A-ROSA. In fact, it wasn’t even at a restaurant. It was more of a dining hall. I believe it is where Bucose hosts large groups. I can tell you this. It was delicious, but too much for lunch. Few people showed up for dinner that night, and my traveling companion was not feeling well from all the rich food at lunch. Moderation when dining at Paul Bucose!
