- You will find that some of the locals do speak English, but you should have at least a basic knowledge of French, or a handbook or translator with you to make things easier.
- The Euro is the currency of the region. Credit cards are also widely accepted.
- Some of the streets in the town are steep and made from cobblestone. Sections can be challenging for the mobility impaired.
