RIVER TOSCA Ship Review

RIVER TOSCA Overview
Sailing the famous Nile River for Uniworld, River Tosca is as notable for her onboard amenities as she is for her diverse Egyptian itineraries. Launched in 2009, she is 236 feet long and can carry 82 guests in an all-suite layout.
In June 2014, Uniworld’s parent company The Travel Corporation announced plans for the resumption of tours to Egypt for the Winter 2014/2015 Season. River Tosca is expected to re-enter service for Uniworld in September 2015.
RIVER TOSCA Staterooms
There are five categories of accommodation offered aboard River Tosca, all of which are suites. The smallest measures 313 square feet, while the largest – the ships two Presidential Suites – clock in at 651 square feet. These two exceptionally large suites are situated all the way forward on Pharaoh Deck and feature a commanding view of the river ahead.
All beautifully appointed suites feature a custom-made bed draped in the finest linens, generous built-in closets, individual climate-control thermostat, direct dial telephone, iPod dock, flat screen TV with satellite channels, and safe.
Private bathrooms feature a bathtub and shower, make-up mirror, hair dryer, quality bath and body products, plush towels, cozy robes and slippers.
Presidential suites have additional amenities and services, including two full-size rooms with sofa, coffee table, and two chairs in the sitting room, all the amenities of our other suites, plus a daily fruit plate and complimentary laundry service (once per cruise).
Note: Amenities may differ from those of a Uniworld company-owned ship.
