CroisiEurope has unveiled its 2027 cruise program, and there is quite a bit to like here – particularly for travelers who want an inclusive river cruise experience without moving into the highest-priced end of the market.

The biggest news is a new 32-passenger ship on the Amazon, but CroisiEurope is also adding new cruises in Hungary, Greece, Spain and France, extending its season deeper into November, and adding time to some of its most interesting long-haul programs in Africa and Egypt.

In all, CroisiEurope says its 2027 program will include more than 170 river, canal, coastal and ocean itineraries aboard 50 ships, covering 43 waterways in 38 countries.

And there is an early booking incentive: 2027 cruises are currently 15 percent off when booked by September 30, 2026, with some exclusions including the Nile and Ganges.

Why CroisiEurope Is Worth A Look

CroisiEurope occupies an interesting place in river cruising. It does not generally command the fares of the most luxurious river cruise companies, yet a lot is included once you are onboard. Meals, drinks with meals and at the bar, Wi-Fi and port charges are generally included, with premium wines and spirits among the extras. Excursion inclusions vary by itinerary, and on a number of cruises they are bundled into the fare as well.

That can make CroisiEurope particularly appealing for travelers who want to keep a closer eye on the total cost of a river cruise rather than simply comparing the advertised fare.

Its 2027 program also goes well beyond the Rhine and Danube. Here are the additions that caught our attention.

A New 32-Passenger Ship On The Amazon

The most interesting development for 2027 may be RV Brasilian Dream, a new four-deck ship carrying just 32 guests in 16 suites.

The ship is scheduled to begin sailing in January 2027 and will feature private balconies on all suites, including two presidential suites. CroisiEurope says the design will draw on Amazonian culture through wood, vivid colors and local arts and crafts.

Onboard facilities will include a restaurant serving Brazilian-inspired cuisine, a spa, fitness room and sun deck.

CroisiEurope is introducing three different 10-night Amazon itineraries rather than concentrating only on the most familiar stretch of the river.

Along The Amazon & Rio Negro

This roundtrip Manaus itinerary explores the area around Jaú National Park and the Anavilhanas archipelago, with excursions focused on wildlife, rainforest and communities along the river.

Guests may see pink dolphins, caimans, monkeys and tropical birds, as well as visit stilt villages and learn about indigenous medicinal plants.

Departures are scheduled from January through August 2027, with prices starting from $7,409 per person.

The Gentle Amazon & Tapajós River

This itinerary travels between Santarém and Manaus and spends time on the Tapajós and Arapiuns rivers, an area known for white-sand riverbanks, clear water and forest ecosystems.

CroisiEurope is putting considerable emphasis on nature and local communities here, with wildlife viewing and visits to artisanal villages included in the experience.

Departures are planned for September, October and December 2027, with prices starting from $7,409 per person.

The Original Amazon

For travelers looking to go farther, this itinerary runs between Manaus and Tabatinga near the borders with Colombia and Peru.

The cruise visits remote areas around the Mamirauá Reserve, with opportunities to see pink dolphins, caimans, birds and Uakari monkeys, along with visits involving the Ticuna people.

Departures are scheduled for April and May 2027, with prices starting from $9,007 per person.

A Different Side Of Hungary

One of the European additions that caught our attention is From the Danube to the Tisza: Authentic Hungary.

Rather than staying entirely on the familiar Upper Danube corridor, the eight-night cruise travels between Budapest and Tiszafüred, taking guests into lesser-visited parts of Hungary and neighboring Serbia.

Stops and excursions include Pécs, Novi Sad and Szeged, along with Hortobágy National Park and the traditions of Hungary’s great puszta.

It is an interesting option for travelers who have already sailed the Danube and want to see a different part of Central Europe.

CroisiEurope’s current 2027 itinerary shows departures beginning April 27 and May 5 aboard MS Mona Lisa.

Prices announced by CroisiEurope start at $2,897 per person.

The Danube, Croatia And Lake Balaton

Another new Central European itinerary combines river cruising with hotel stays.

The Majestic Danube, the Sava & Lake Balaton is a nine-night journey that incorporates a seven-night cruise as well as stays in Zagreb and Balatonfüred.

Along the way are Lake Balaton, Lonjsko Polje and Kopački Rit Nature Park, giving this itinerary a stronger nature component than the classic Budapest-to-Vienna river cruise.

Prices begin at $2,759 per person, with departures scheduled for April 13 and 18, 2027.

CroisiEurope Heads To The Greek Islands

CroisiEurope is also adding a seven-night Cyclades and Dodecanese itinerary roundtrip from Athens.

The itinerary includes Santorini and Milos, along with Rhodes, Amorgos and Syros.

This is obviously not a river cruise, but it illustrates something worth remembering about CroisiEurope: the company’s fleet and itineraries extend well beyond European rivers.

Departures are scheduled for April 14, 21 and 28, 2027, with prices starting at $3,035 per person.

A Rhine Cruise With A Little More Fun

Not every new itinerary has to be exotic.

The Rhine in Celebration is a four-night cruise from Strasbourg that seems designed as a short, fun escape.

The itinerary includes Oberwesel, Rüdesheim, Mannheim and Heidelberg, along with a medieval-style lunch with music, Rüdesheimer Kaffee and an evening revue at the Royal Palace Music Hall.

Departures are offered in March and November 2027, with announced prices starting from $1,737 per person.

For travelers looking to try river cruising without committing to a longer and more expensive sailing, this one could be particularly interesting.

A Solar Eclipse From The Guadalquivir

One of the more unusual new itineraries is a special seven-night Andalusia cruise departing Seville on July 29, 2027.

The cruise travels the Guadalquivir and includes Jerez, Córdoba, Cádiz, El Puerto de Santa María, Isla Minima and Granada.

But the timing is part of the attraction. Guests are scheduled to experience a partial solar eclipse, along with a meteor shower during the cruise.

Prices start from $3,180 per person.

The Rouen Armada Returns In 2027

CroisiEurope is also building several Seine itineraries around the 2027 Rouen Armada, the enormous gathering of tall ships held in Normandy.

Cruises range from four to seven nights and sail roundtrip from Paris, with June departures built around time in Rouen for the event.

CroisiEurope currently lists several 2027 Armada sailings, including itineraries combining Rouen with Normandy, Versailles and other destinations along the Seine.

Prices announced by CroisiEurope start from $1,558 per person.

More Late-Season River Cruises

We also like CroisiEurope’s decision to expand its November Cruise Escapes.

These late-season itineraries will operate on the Rhine, Rhône, Loire, Seine and Gironde.

November is not traditionally the first month people think of for a European river cruise. But there are advantages: fewer visitors, easier access to popular attractions and, often, attractive pricing.

For travelers who don’t need warm summer weather, extending the river cruise season makes sense.

CroisiEurope is also adding new Christmas-market cruises on the Seine and Elbe, along with new Christmas and New Year departures.

More Time In Africa And Egypt

Two existing long-haul programs are getting longer in 2027.

CroisiEurope’s Safari Cruise Along the Zambezi River will expand to 10 nights. The additional time includes another night at the lodge, a second 4×4 safari in Chobe National Park and an additional night aboard RV African Dream or RV Zimbabwean Dream.

Its Egypt program is also being expanded.

The Highlights of Cairo & a Nile Cruise Through the Land of the Pharaohs will gain an additional pre-cruise day in Cairo, allowing more time for the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum.

The 15 Percent Early Booking Offer

CroisiEurope is offering 15 percent off its 2027 river, ocean and hotel barge cruises when booked by September 30, 2026. The promotion does not apply to Nile or Ganges cruises, according to the company.

Our Take

There is a lot in CroisiEurope’s 2027 program, but we think three things stand out.

The first is the Amazon. A 32-passenger ship operating several genuinely different Amazon itineraries gives CroisiEurope something distinctive in the expedition and long-haul market.

The second is the continued expansion beyond the usual Rhine-and-Danube routes. The Tisza, Lake Balaton, Greek islands, Andalusia and late-season Europe give repeat cruisers some interesting alternatives.

And the third is value.

CroisiEurope has long been an option we think deserves more attention from North American travelers. It is generally more budget-conscious than many of the river cruise lines marketed heavily in the United States, while still including meals, most onboard drinks and Wi-Fi in the fare. Depending on the itinerary, excursions may be included as well.

For travelers who care more about where the ship is going than about having the largest suite or the most elaborate onboard product, there is quite a bit in the 2027 program worth looking at.
