RIVER VICTORIA Overview
Uniworld River Cruises sails Russia’s historic Volga River, having chartered the River Victoria from a Russian company. The design team from Red Carnation Hotels, Uniworld’s sister company, worked closely with their Russian counterparts on the refurbishment plans that resulted in one of the most vibrantly-designed ships currently sailing the region.
River Victoria sails Uniworld’s Imperial Waterways of Russia itinerary. Sailings travel along the Volga River between St. Petersburg and Moscow, as well as the reverse itinerary.
RIVER VICTORIA Stateroom and Public Area Enhancements
Series of three cabins were combined into two, which created cabins ranging in size between 135 square feet and 210 square feet. The majority of cabins, category 1-3, are 210 square feet, with 70 percent of all cabins featuring balconies. Category 4-5 cabins are 135 square feet and category 6 cabins are 161 square feet.
There are also 10 suites: two junior suites at 334 square feet each; six deluxe suites at 269 square feet each; and two presidential suites at 409 square feet each. As part of the refurbishment an elevator was added and all public areas were extensively renovated.
The 423 foot-long, 55 foot-wide River Victoria can carry 206-passengers. It has four decks and features a restaurant, bar, library, spa and fitness room.
Beautifully appointed riverview staterooms and suites have hotel beds draped in fine lines and European duvets. Stateroom and suite amenities include: individual climate-control thermostat, telephone, flatscreen TV with infotainment center and complimentary movie and entertainment options and safe.
Bathrooms include: L’Occitane en Provence bath and body products and cozy bathrobe.
Presidential Suites include: Nespresso coffee machine and fine teas; cookies and snack service; and sun beds on private balcony.
Note: While the River Victoria is a comfortable Russian-style ship, its amenities may differ from those of a Uniworld company-owned ship.
